Agreement 1
Be impeccable with your word - Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.
Agreement 2
Don’t take anything personally - Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.
Agreement 3
Don’t make assumptions - Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.
Agreement 4
Always do your best - Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

*Note: RED text above can be types in lower case to check those specific cycles. Please be sure to add the following to your .profile: PATH=$PATH=/svitops/scripts/operations:
The above screen shows the current time of the log file and the current date and time.
It is common for it to take 3-20 min or so to update between steps. (Shown above 18 steps) left to process. Also it has 2 pay periods to process (RECORD_NUM_1 & _2) 201702 & 201703 are listed above.
If the logfile is not updated in 30 min. Call out to LOS ACCENTURE PRIMARY (The VAST/Truecomp) support person will have to check from their end. Do not abort and restart unless advised by support.
More than likely they will advise to ABORT the job then wait as they have to do some steps behind the scenes manually from the TRUECOMP MANAGER then have ops restart the job.
Once the PVCTCPIPE01D_T completes the script will stop running and return to the command prompt.
There are two jobs that run between the PIPE and PAY jobs, the script may remain running between the PIPE and PAY jobs. CTRL – C to break out of the script at any time. This will not impact the job running on the application / database server.

Job (PVCTCPIPE01D_T) . This script also works with the PVCTCPPAY01D_T job.
The above jobs run after the successful completion of PVCTCVLDT01D_T.
Login to dfwrsp721; then run the checkpipe.pl script
If the PVCTCPIPE01D_T or PVCTCPPAY01D_T jobs are not running, you will get the following result.
Once you confirm the PVCTCPIPE01D_T job is running, run the checkpipe.pl script, it will show the following:
(This script monitors/displays the log files for the PIPE and PAY Jobs.)
When you run the script it will display the SLA (Service Level Agreement) goals for that autosys instance.
For the ASI instance there are only 2 SLA goals: BIS IB and BIS DATA.
Example: (ASI) autosys running the sla command will display the following results:
Sat Oct 15 00:33:38 CDT 2016
____________________________________________________________________________________
BIS IB - due complete by 05:00am CST - Wait for email from BIS Group before sending System Problem Email.
pioir_pfp_sla_mart_watchd ----- 10/14/2016 04:32:09 AC
BIS Data - due complete by 09:00am CST.
pioir_infra_evtmon_loadd ------ 10/14/2016 04:41:18 AC
____________________________________________________________________________________
Sat Oct 15 00:33:39 CDT 2016
The above 2 jobs are due complete by 5am and 9am. Notice that both jobs are in AC “Activated status. They have not run yet. Ops should be monitoring the pioir batch cycle, and running reph.pl to determine when the average start time of the job is and jdep’ing back for its dependencies to verify the process batch flow is moving as expected. If not applicable action needs to be taken.
The 2nd job pioir_infra_evtmon_loadd has a hard start time of 02:00am Daily
So ideally, we run the script to identify what is not in an “SU” status and check those batch or online jobs as needed.
Once the job is in success “SU” the sla goals have completed. Hopefully prior to the SLA goal. If this is beyond the SLA goal time we need to report it as applicable late with a system problem email.
Kgen batch jobs can sometimes fail with Oracle 31495 errors.
Upon receiving this type of error for a job failure first ops should wait 2-3 min then restart the job.
If the job fails again with the same error then contact the Environment Team to flush the buffer and clear backend sessions. Once that is done by the Env Team Ops can restart the job.
If job fails again, wait 10 min then restart the job again.
kGen0733 Failure while inserting --------- - row exists with the same key.
Try to restart if fails again, wait 5 min and restart again. If fails again contact application support.
Job failures (Example: PKGBEYEX%):
kGen2330 Error in routine dgn_upd_prwtnr. – restart until successful.
PKG%HOLE% job failures:
error :REGION_HOLES_IN_PAGES: fDO_HOLES_IN_PAGES
ERROR CREATING TABLE CURR_ISSUE_ADS
ORA-00955: name is already used by an existing object
!!!!! Message @@@0000 was not found.
--- PG HOLES IN PAGES PROCESS HAS TERMINATED WITH ERROR ---
Application run ended
Application run ended with failure.
Wait 10 min and restart, if fails again, wait 20 min and restart.
PKGPROJ% job failures:
Restart jobs until jobs complete successfully. If after 3 failures, contact application support.
Jobs running long after restarting or not showing up in application or database server:
Contact the CTL DBA to advise them to check for (inactive) sessions that are locking the database.
Example: We incurred an issue where a job for start onlines was running long we aborted and restarted and the job ran long again, it was due to inactive sessions locking 50% or more of the database resources on different tables. This kept new or active processes from getting the CPU or Database resources necessary to run correctly. CTL DBA should be able to check for sessions locking on the database.
The below Autosys jobs can be ran anytime to check the Batch and Online dates. The jobs can be run even when the online is down. These jobs can’t be run if the database is down.
PKG_Check_Batch_online_DATE - (ASV) Production kGen, checks Batch and Online Dates
PVC_check_Batch_DATE - (ASV) Production Trucomp, checks Batch Date
T3KG_CFIT_check_Batch_online_DATE - (AST) CFIT, checks Batch and Online Dates
T4KG_PPT_check_Batch_online_DATE - (AST) PPT, checks Batch and Online Dates
T5KG_PM_check_Batch_online_DATE – (AST) PM, checks Batch and Online Dates
If you are getting any errors in the autosyslog –e (autosys agent not running, ect..) or suspect that autosys agent is not running on the application or database server as expected. You may also see Autosys jobs stuck in a Pending (PE) status, or stuck in a Starting (ST) status or stuck in a Restart (RE) status or in CHASE.
Below is an example of a job stuck in CHASE status. Check the details and it states the agent has not acknowledged the job request:
